Richtech Robotics saw its stock surge 14.2% in premarket trading after announcing a strategic partnership with Microsoft. The collaboration, facilitated through Microsoft's AI Co-Innovation Labs, focuses on integrating Azure AI technology into Richtech's ADAM robot.
The upgraded ADAM now features advanced vision, voice recognition, and autonomous reasoning capabilities. Contextual awareness—including time of day, weather conditions, and promotional data—enables more natural customer interactions. The system maintains performance during peak periods through vision-based models.
This technology has cross-industry applications in logistics, hospitality, and manufacturing without requiring significant hardware modifications. "Our collaboration reflects a shared focus on applying advanced AI to practical use cases," a Richtech spokesperson noted.
